Telefunken ELA M 270. Serial number 101 was discovered in the early 1980's in
Europe and brought to the shores of America where it lived in Ocean Way
Studios for many years as the crowned jewel in their world famous microphone
Elektroakustik obtained this extraordinary piece of recording technology in
order to recreate the design and offer it to the recording industry. Today, the
original ELA M 270 resides at Blackbird studios in Nashville, but thanks to Telefunken
Elektroakustik, you can have your very own.
a stereo version of the ELA M 251E, the ELA M 270 is available on a very
limited, custom ordered basis, for the most discriminating of audio recordists.
